Will all customers receive the same offer?

WOWPON$ may from time to time run different customer offers or Coupons, with different terms (including amounts, types and expiry dates). WOWPON$ reserves the right to limit the applicability of any particular offer to specific regions or areas. Different offers and Coupons may be run simultaneously In the carousel menu on the WOWPON$ home page, each customer will receive special offers selected for the individual customer based your buying habits. For example, unless you have purchased “Disposable Diapers” in the past, WOWPON$ will not present those coupons to you in your carousel menu. WOWPON$ offers each customer an individualized shopping experience, based on previous purchases, age and location.


 

 

Are there any circumstances where the offer cannot be used?

  • Many Coupons only apply to goods purchased at a specific grocer or merchant and may not be used at any other shops.
  • The Coupons cannot be combined with each other (unless otherwise indicated) but can be combined with general product promotional offers appearing to all customers at the store.
  • The Coupons cannot be applied to past purchases made with the merchant or grocer and cannot be backdated or redeemed for cash.
  • Each Coupon code may be used only once per customer unless specifically indicated on the face of the coupon. The one customer restriction applies to individuals using a single loyalty card number.
  • WOWPON$ reserves the right to withdraw or terminate any of its Coupons at any time, either as a whole or for specific delivery areas. If this happens, then the Coupons may not be used for any orders placed after the date of withdrawal or termination. WOWPON$ reserves the right to reject the use of a Coupon where fraud is suspected.
  • Rarely, but occasionally, products are recalled by the manufacturer voluntarily. WOWPON$ will automatically withdraw the coupon for any product for which the FDA, USDA or manufacturer has order that the product not be sold. In situations in which a specific lot number or “run” is indicated in the recall, WOWPON$ will still remove the coupon from availability and each loyalty card for which the coupon has been downloaded.

 

 

What are the applicable time periods to the Coupons?

Each Coupon should state when it is valid from and when it expires and you must shop during this time. For example, each Coupon will clearly state the date the coupon expires and the Coupon will expire automatically on the expiry date stated on the Coupon.


 

 

Follow the Coupon instructions

Remember you must follow the instructions on your Coupon. If you get it wrong you will receive an automatic message telling you which error has occurred. If you get an error message please check the Coupon instructions and try again. For example, you may have only selected 1 item from a family and attempted to use a coupon which requires you to purchase 2, 3 or 4 items to redeem the coupon.


 

 

How do I use Coupons?

To use coupons you use the list to “shop” in the store and when you have finished shopping, simply “Checkout” All the coupons for the products you have placed in your cart will be sent directly to your stores loyalty card. Be careful, in order to get the value of a coupon you must meet the manufacturer’s conditions for redemption.


 

 

How do I find Coupons?

WOWPON$ offers you two ways to find coupons for products: 1) search by product, and 2) search by coupon. To search by product, you simply add products to your shopping list. You can add products to you shopping list three ways. First, you can search for the product by name. The name can be as specific or generic as you like. For example, you can add products like milk, cheese and bread. Or, you can add products like “Farm Fresh Brown eggs”, “Boar’s Head Cheddar” and “Wonder Bread This Sliced.”

The second way to search for a product is by using its UPC or barcode. If you smartphone supports autofocus you may simply scan the barcode of the product and if you smartphone does not offer autofocus, you may enter the barcode manually by entering the 8 or 12 numbers in the barcode. The third way to search for a product is by using your “TOP PICKS” list. “TOP PICKS” are item that you purchase most. To add items you simply select the items from your “TOP PICKS” list and add them by selecting the add to list button.

The second way to find coupons is to view individual coupons or coupons sorted by category of product. For example, “tomato ketchup” might yield coupons for one or more manufactures brands of tomato ketchup. After you find a category and coupon, simple click the add to list button to add that product and coupon to your shopping list.


 

 

What type of Coupons are there?

Store saving coupons

Entitles you to money off your total shop. The Coupon will state the amount that will be deducted from your bill, how much you need to spend in order to get money off (if applicable), Coupons, in which order to use them and the Coupon expiry date. Generally, these types of store-specific saving coupons contain a condition of use called “Minimum Spend”. That means to be entitled to redeem your Coupon, the total amount you spend during that transaction must be great than or equal to an amount. The order total, which you must reach to qualify for the offer, will be clearly show by WOWPON$ and you will be reminded of when you have or have not met the condition in order to use the coupon.

Product specific Coupons

Entitles you to money off particular products, or in some cases, a free product when you meet certain conditions. The Coupon will state which product or products it applies to, the saving you make (if applicable) and the Coupon expiry date. Products are subject to availability, while stocks last. If the product for which you have a coupon is not available, the grocer or merchant may issue you a coupon or coupon to enable you to purchase the product at a later time. The decision to issue you a coupon is entirely at the discretion of the grocer.


 

 

How do I make savings on my groceries by using Coupons?

Coupons may be made available to you by us using either the smartphone application or via the WOWPON$ website for printing coupons. They entitle you to a saving off your shopping ("the Coupon"). The coupon has no actual cash value. Each Coupon will explain the saving and how it works. In order for you to get credit for the Coupon, you must meet the Manufacturers conditions for use. WOWPON$ will alert you to those conditions like, “you must buy 2 from a group of product.” It is important to remember that WOWPON$ is a delivery mechanism for Manufacturers coupons and promotional offers. If a grocery store fails to credit you with a coupon’s value, WOWPON$ is not responsible to guarantee acceptance of that coupon by the grocer. When you select a product which has a Coupon, WOWPON$ will download the coupon directly to your shopping reward card.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you enter your loyalty or store card number exactly as printed on the card. WOWPON$ may validate your loyalty card number if the grocers offer a way for WOWPON$ to check your number. If the grocer tells us your number is invalid, we will inform you and ask that you re-enter or verify the number.

In order for you to get credit for the Coupon, you must meet the Manufacturers conditions for use. WOWPON$ will alert you to those conditions like, “you must buy 2 from a group of product.” It is important to remember that WOWPON$ is a delivery mechanism for Manufacturers coupons and promotional offers. If a grocery store fails to credit you with a coupon’s value, WOWPON$ is not responsible to guarantee the acceptance of that coupon by the grocer. Acceptance of a coupon is the responsibility of the grocer and Manufacturer who will reimburse the grocer for the savings they pass along to you for any products.

Each coupon has an expiration date, (“date”). If you fail to purchase the item by the expiration date, even if you placed the coupon for that item on your loyalty card prior to the date, but fail to purchase the item, i.e., redeem the coupon, you will not receive the savings when you checkout and purchase the item.


 

 

Do I need to worry about backing up my WOWPON$ data?

Your WOWPON$ data is backed up each time you start the application on your handset. If your handset is more current than the system, the handset data will be added to the system. So, there is never a need to worry about you data being lost, even if you lose your phone you can recover your information from the WOWPON$ system.


 

 

How do I know which stores WOWPON$ supports?

WOWPON$ currently supports over 6,000 stores in the USA. On the stores tab, you will see a full list of these merchant-partners.


 

 

How does WOWPON$ know my shopping reward card?

When you select the Stores icon from the Tab Menu at the bottom of each screen, you will be shown the list of merchant partners of WOWPONS$. If your stores are listed, select the store and manually add your reward card or loyalty card number. Note: The number you enter must be the reward card or loyalty card number, not your telephone number as is used by some merchant partners as an alias for the card number.


 

 

How do I know if a coupon exists for a specific product?

If an item exists for a product, you will see a green badge to the right of the image on the list. If the badge is yellow, a coupon exists for a similar product from another manufacturer.


 

 

How do I add a list?

Across the bottom of each WOWPON$ screen is a tab menu consisting of Home, Lists, Coupons, Stores, and More. To go to the list view, select the second tab from the left, or Lists. This displays the lists currently in your account. Even if this is your first time using WOWPON$, you have a Quick List. To add a new list, select the “+” sign on the top right, enter the name of the list and select the create list button.


 

 

Can I create my lists on my home PC and use them on WOWPON$?

Yes, you login to http://mywowpons.com and you can build lists, edit them, and share them with your friends on Facebook.


 

 

What information does WOWPON$ keep about me?

WOWPON$ stores your email, password, first name, last name, ZIPCODE, and Birth Day in your profile. We also keep information about what you buy, where you buy it, how often and what offers or coupons you use.


 

 

What happens if I elect not to allow WOWPON$ access to my location?

If you decide not to allow WOWPON$ access to your GPS location, WOWPON$ uses your ZIPCODE instead. If you enter a fictitious ZIPCODE, WOWPON$ cannot present offers to you for selection.


 

 

Why do I need to allow WOWPON$ access to my location?

WOWPON$ uses your location when you sign up for WOWPON$ as your home location. By default WOWPON$ will select all partner-merchants within a 25 mile radius as your “home shopping area.”


 

 

How many stores can I have listed where I shop?

By default, WOWPON$ lists all partner-merchants within a 25 mile radius of your home or the location your GPS tells us you are located. There is no limit to the number of partner-merchants that can be displayed and used.


 

 

Does WOWPON$ work at any grocery store?

There are so many fraudulent coupons in the marketplace today that most stores restrict coupons to professionally printed paper coupons. Paper coupons harm the environment and their handling further ads to your carbon-footprint. In order to accept coupons, merchants require that the Manufacturers reimburse them for the face value of the coupon; after all, the merchant passes the savings on to you, the customer. For the Manufacturer to know the coupon is “good” it has to meet certain standards which, unfortunately, mobile coupons do not currently possess. In order to get around this problem, WOWPON$ applies the coupon to the partner merchant’s Point-of-Sale system in your loyalty card number. Since WOWPON$ distributed the coupon directly to the card, there is no room for fraudulent coupons to enter the system. But what this means is that merchants who are not currently WOWPON$ partners, have no way to ensure that the coupons are valid. Consequently, coupons can only be redeemed at partner-merchants. If you merchant has a reward card and is not currently on the WOWPON$ merchant list, please contact us to see if your merchant can accept these coupons.


 

 

Why do I need to select a store?

WOWPON$ presents you with a list of stores within 25 miles of your location, by default. The stores list are the partners that WOWPON$ has selected who will accept the mobile coupons for download to your shopping card. If you start shopping, if you say “no” when WOWPON$ asks for permission to use your GPS, we cannot know which store you are actually in. WOWPON$ asks which store, based on your ZIPCODE. You simply select a store and “Checkout” to move the coupons onto your store loyalty card system.


 

 

What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, select “Forgot Password” and WOWPON$ will email a new password to you. The email address is the same one used as the account name. This password is a temporary password and assumes you will go to your profile and reset the temporary password to something you can remember.


 

 

 

Why don’t I have to login each time?

WOWPON$, by default, keeps you logged into the system for up to two weeks at a time. Unless you change your handset, reset your handset, or someone else loads WOWPON$ on your device, you will not typically be required to login.


 

 

Why do I have to login?

WOWPON$ has to retain information about what you buy, how often, and where to ensure we present useful coupons and offers to you. Logging in, allows us to “live sync” data you have entered from other handsets or from your computer at home to WOWPON$ to always keep the same information handy for you to use. So if you lose your phone, or need to change your phone, WOWPON$ on the new device will be loaded with your TOP PICKS and your lists.


 

 

Why do you ask for my ZIPCODE?

WOWPON$ uses a technique called “GEOCODING” to select stores in your area who are partnered with WOWPON$ to send offers directly to your Loyalty Cards. If you answer “NO” when we ask to use your GPS in your phone, the only way we can determine your location is through your ZIPCODE.


 

 

What if I got something wrong?

If you make a mistake entering your data into WOWPON$ you simply select “MORE…” from the menu bar at the bottom WOWPON$, then Profile; alter the data, and save your changes. Please note: there is no “UNDO” available for profile changes at this time. You can relax, any data you enter can be corrected if you get it wrong.


 

 

How do I enter my information into WOWPON$?

To start WOWPON$, select the APP ICON from your phone’s screen. When you do this for the first time WOWPON$ will ask you for information about you that we store in your Profile. Your Profile contains your login name which we default to your email address. It is important that you enter the Profile information correctly since we want to be able to email a copy of your password to you if you forget it. Next, we will ask for a password. The password can be almost any length between 4 and 10 characters. We will ask for your first and last name and your Birth date. We ask for Birthday so that we can tailor information we present to you for age related data. For example, we do not offer coupons for alcohol or tobacco products to persons under 21 years of age. When you finish with your profile, you simply save the data and a copy of all your data is retained on the handset and on the WOWPON$ system.


 

 

How do I get WOWPON$?

WOWPON$ is free for download from your iPhone App Store and from your Android Shop from your Carrier. Very shortly, you will also be able to access all the functionality available on your phone via your PC at home and on mobile web compatible smartphones.
